The second edition of the Sustainable Leather Forum took place as planned in Paris on September 14.
Programmed to take place the day before the Première Vision Leather exhibition, the forum went ahead in spite of the exhibition being cancelled.
The chief sustainability officer of luxury group Kering, Marie-Claire Daveu, gave the forum’s first keynote presentation. As well as major luxury groups, representatives of the French government and smaller manufacturing firms featured on the speaker list.
Hygiene and social distancing requirements reduced the number of delegates from the planned figure of 420 to 240.
