ISA Next-Gen Materials has announced “excellent” life cycle assessment (LCA) results, following the example of the Leather Working Group (LWG).
The company reported the following results per square meter of finished leather:

ISA noted that the LWG report marked a major step towards sustainability in the tanning industry. The company said that the LWG and Spin 360 are leading the way in conducting objective, science-based environment assessments in the leather industry, and it stands with them in driving the sector toward a more sustainable future.
