Skechers has introduced an AI-powered retail assistant, Luna, at its new store in Punggol Coast Mall in Singapore.
Developed in collaboration with creative agency We Are Social Singapore, the launch is a month-long activation designed to mark the opening of the new outlet in the Punggol Digital District.
Luna interacts with customers via an in-store kiosk or through the messaging app Telegram. Using speech-to-speech AI technology and real-time conversation data, it offers personalised style advice and product recommendations based on individual preferences and current outfits.
The activation is part of Skechers' strategy to integrate digital tools into its retail environment. According to senior general manager, Irene Lee, the brand sees innovation as central to its customer engagement approach.
We Are Social Singapore's innovation director, Manolis Perrakis, described Luna as an example of emerging AI technologies designed to connect physical and digital shopping experiences, offering a consistent interaction across both platforms.
