Egypt’s Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli recently met with the Export Development Committee to discuss ways to boost the country’s exports to $115 billion by 2030. Key recommendations included lower interest rates, reduced tax and customs burdens, and faster export support payments.
Ahmed Al-Gabbas from the Leather Export Council highlighted issues in the electronic invoicing system that affect leather exporters. He also stressed the need for investment incentives and better livestock sector development to improve leather quality and production.
