Arc’teryx Equipment has established a dedicated Footwear Business Unit to drive growth following the successful Spring 2025 launch of its expanded footwear line, including the Norvan LD 4 and Vertex Speed.
Renée Augustine has been appointed as the company’s first general manager, Footwear. She previously served as vice president of strategy & enterprise PMO at Arc’teryx and held senior roles at Nike and Under Armour. Chief merchandising officer Matt Bolte will oversee the new unit, which aims to boost innovation and speed to market.

Based in Portland, Oregon, the unit will include teams across product creation, marketing, and commercial functions. Arc’teryx plans to expand its footwear presence globally under the new structure.
