Spanish footwear brand Camper has partnered with fashion label Issey Miyake to launch a new shoe collection called Peu Form.
The design builds on Camper’s existing Peu model, known for its wide toe box and ergonomic outsole.
Incorporating Issey Miyake’s “a piece of cloth” concept, an approach developed by the designer in 1997 that involves creating garments from a single piece of fabric, the method aims to reduce material waste and explore the structural possibilities of textiles.
Peu Form follows this principle through the use of a single piece of Italian leather that wraps around the foot. The shoe is flexible, unstructured, and collapsible.
Hand-made in Portugal, it is available in two styles and four colours: black, white, blue, and red. One version can be worn as a mule by stepping down the heel, while the other is designed as an ankle boot.
