Chemicals group Archroma has published of its first formulation list of ZDHC-compliant colourants and chemicals for textiles and apparel.
The ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) Group - which includes Nike, adidas, Puma and Jack Wolfskin - released its the Manufacturers Restricted Substance List (MRSL) in June, setting concentration limits for the chemical groups banned under the ZDHC Joint Roadmap.
Archroma has compiled a list of textile colorants and auxiliaries that are qualified to support the objective and has established a global network of labs that monitor incoming and outgoing product flow.
“Archroma’s formulation list is probably the most comprehensive one available to textile manufacturers, brands and retailers on the market at this stage,” said Thomas Winkler, president of Textile Specialties.
