High-end outdoor footwear brand Aku has confirmed that it produced 230,000 pairs of shoes and boots in 2024. This figure represents a fall of 26.8% compared to the previous year.
In 2023, Aku took the decision to close a manufacturing facility it ran in Serbia. It now makes its products in two factories. One is at its headquarters in Montebelluna in Italy, the other in Cluj Napoca in Romania.

Its turnover in 2024 was €22.9 million, a fall of 23.7%.
