General Introduction

China Leather Science and Technology Commission is a branch affiliated to China Leather Industry Association. Its task is to implement the strategy of “developing the country through science and technology”, to promote the leather scientific and technological achievements both at home and abroad, to improve the scientific and technological standard of the leather industry,to promote sustainable development of the industry. China Leather Science and Technology Commission consists of experts and scholars of the leather industry and related enterprises, colleges and institutes, as well as relevant representatives.

Service Content

● As the representative member of IULTCS and the initiating unit of AICLST, China Leather Science And Technology Commission provides the following services:

Carry out various forms of activities both at home and abroad,organize to convene or participate in IULTCS and AICLST conferences;

Convene annual meetings of China Leather Science and Technology Commission and forums and workshops related to up to date technologies, processes, materials and equipments.

● Carry on scientific and technological studies, put forward scientific and technological development planning and direction on tackling of key industrial problems.

● Encourage and promote the industrial innovation.

● Take the lead to set up “China Leather Industry Association Scholarship”in colleges and universities, and promote professional training, and drive industrial support to develop leather industry through science and technology.

● Participate in formulation of relevant industrial standards and policies, and assist the authorities to carry out effectively pollution and emission reduction planning, and promote clean innovative technologies and waste treatment technologies, and lead industrial enterprises to advance to low carbon, ecological and sustainable development.
