Pakistan has begun crocodile farming as part of initiatives to boost the country’s leather industry and diversify its agricultural businesses.

The farm has been opened at Bhambhore Farmhouse near Jacobabad, and currently houses 10 imported crocodiles with plans for rapid population growth.
The farm owner said: “If we successfully breed them, this farm could revolutionise the local exotic leather industry and open new doors for tourism in the region.”
