From February 4-5, representatives from industry organisations, universities, and vocational education providers across eight European countries met to discuss addressing skill gaps in the textile, clothing, leather and footwear (TCLF) workforce.
Working in coordination with the Erasmus+ METASKILLS4TCLF project, AEQUALIS4TCLF focuses on anticipating industry needs through the development of EU and national TCLF skills strategies.
This includes new curricula and micro-credential training courses, supported by innovative educational resources. The project is developing nine curricula aligned with European Qualifications Framework levels 3 to 6, covering topics such as sustainability, digitalisation, manufacturing and design.
